Group Exercise Pool printable schedule
Senior Water Aerobics*: During this hour-long class, choreographed routines target cardiovascular fitness, strength, endurance and flexibility in a stress-free, low-impact environment.
Senior Water Circuit: This basic 45-minute aquatic circuit class alternates aerobics and muscle strengthening exercises using a variety of moves in the water.
Hydro Aerobics: One hour of water aerobics features aerobic conditioning, resistance training and flexibility. For the fit individual.
Parkinson's Class: A 30-min. water class designed to meet the special needs of people with Parkinson's.
Arthritis Aquatics: Meets the special needs of people with arthritis. Helps reduce pain and stiffness and increase joint mobility. A gentle, non-jarring class co-sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation. Forty-five minutes.
Family Swim: Swim time for all family members. Solo swimming is discouraged. Exercise caution. During the family recreation time, the west side of the gym is also available. An adult is required to accompany all children for family swim.
Paratrooper: An advanced water workout for the more fit population, utilizing small parachutes to provide added resistance for a higher intensity workout. (Jan. and Feb. only)
Aqua Pump: a 45 minute class that combines cardiovascular training and body toning.
Aqua Fusion: One hour of water aerobics featuring aerobic conditioning, resistance training using a variety of equipment and flexibility. For the fit individual.
Fluid Fusion:Choreographed routines target cardiovascular fitness, strength, endurance and flexibility in a strees-free, low-impact environment.* Appropriate for older adults.
Water in Motion:Basic 45 minute aquatic circuit class alternates aerobic and muscle strengthening exercises using a variety of moves in the water. Appropriate for older adults.
Classes are coed. Child care is available during specified times. *Appropriate for prenatal/postnatal members. Appropriate for oncology patients with physician approval. Aquatic orientation available to members, schedule at Member Services Desk. Class schedule is effective June 2008.
Lap Pool printable schedule
Aqua-Jogger*: Cool water suspended exercises utilizing a buoyancy belt. This non-impact class can also help speed recovery of overstrained muscles and joints. For all levels. Forty-five minutes.
Advanced Aqua-Jogger: A truly challenging 45-minute workout. Suspended exercises are basic non-dance moves which build aerobic capacity, muscle conditioning and flexibility.
Classes are coed. The lap pool will be closed during organized classes. Child care is available during specified times. *Appropriate for prenatal/postnatal members. Appropriate for oncology patients with physician approval. Aquatic orientation available to members, schedule at Member Services Desk. Class schedule effective June 2008.
